Homes you can afford

Ontario is in a housing crisis. In cities like Toronto, Ottawa and London, it's getting harder and harder for families and individuals to find an affordable place to rent. If they are in an affordable unit, it is getting harder to keep it and not get evicted for bogus reasons.

A New Democrat government will create a new market of homes people can afford, stabilize rent, crack down on money-laundering in housing, help people with their down payment, and give renters more help security.

And we will end chronic homelessness by 2025 with a Housing First strategy that gives more people a safe, stable place to live.
