Education Survey Results

It's clear that ensuring our kids and their educators are safe in school is on the top of everyone's minds. Over the past couple of weeks, I asked people to complete our Education Survey to help inform me of specific concerns and desires for safe schools re-opening.

With this information, I will continue to fight hard at Queen's Park to let Doug Ford know his plan is far from adequate. Our kids deserve so much better.

Thank you to all who completed the survey. You can read more about the findings below.

On August 13th, Ontario Principals Council requested class-size reductions to support physical distancing. How important is physical distancing in a back to school plan? Rank responses (1 - 10)

Ford's government initially committed the province to provide $16,000 additional dollars per school to hire more educators. You think that is:

What part of the plan would you like to see be improved?

What best describes your overall feelings towards Ford’s plan?

In the event of a second wave, if schools have to shut down, what would your family have to do?
