Child Care – COVID and Cost: What Families & Child Care Centres are Facing

Time and time again I hear from families in Parkdale—High Park about the high cost of child care. The Federal government is negotiating with all the provinces to provide child care at $10 per day. Ontario is one of the few provinces to have not yet signed on.

At the same time, with a return to child care in the midst of the pandemic, there is a lot of anxiety about safety measures and steps being taken to address them.
